   J. Krejčí je egyptolog s archeologickou praxí v Egyptě. Dlouhodobě se specializuje na řešení otázek egyptské archeologie a dějin 3. a 2. tis. př. Kr., obecně se pak zabývá vývojem egyptské architektury a možnostmi jejích trojrozměrných počítačových rekonstrukcí. Na archeologických výzkumech v EAR se  podílí od r. 1991. Dr. Krejčí je členem The International Association of Egyptologists.
