Egyptologist
and Archaeologist, taking regularly part in archaeological expeditions to Egypt.
He is specialised in history and archaeology of Egypt in the third and the
second millenium B.C. He has been interested in development of the non-royal
tomb during the Old Kingdom and in the social history. In the past three years
teaching at the Charles University in Prague and in Pilsen. Lecturing at the
universities in the Czech Republic and abroad as well, member of the
International Association of Egyptologists.
